Upgrade Implementation process:

  • Project preparation- Define project scope (hardware, software, and resource scope), select vendor, build project team, define timelines etc.
  • Business process Scoping (Blue Printing)
  • For Technical Upgrade: take stock of all processes and custom developments GUI enhancements
  • For Functional Upgrade: Take stock of all functional and technical enhancements for operational excellence.
  • Strategic upgrade: Re-engineer existing business processes to align business strategy, operational excellence and improve sustainability.
  • Realization*: configuration of standard business process, coding for process gaps, unit, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
  • Final Preparation: - Train the trainer, organization changes management, data migration from legacy system, Hardware and application preparation are the part of cutover strategy.
  • Go-live and support: Transport all the configuration and developed code in production environment. After cutover time, all transactions should be carried out in live production system. Customer /user support should be helping business users and functional and technical consultant should be standing by to provide second level support.
