Tire Pressure and Management System

TPMS is an electronic system designed to monitor the air pressure (and optionally, temperature) of the tyres. It provides real-time information which is conveyed to a driver either through a graphic display or simple low-pressure light on the dashboard or on an app on the smartphone.

The whole purpose of TPMS is to warn you about the under-inflation of one or more than one tyres of your vehicle. The under-inflated tyres cause unsafe driving conditions, possibly resulting in accidents. TPMS notifies you when your vehicle’s tire pressure is low or is going flat. By helping you maintain proper tire pressure, TPMS can increase your safety on the road by improving your vehicle’s handling, decreasing tire wear, reducing braking distance and bettering fuel economy.

TPMS estimated to saves 660 lives per year, as well as preventing 33,00 injuries and saving $511 million worth of gas.
